The East and West Small Animal Veterinary Conference (WESAVC) is a comprehensive platform in small animal medicine industry. It is jointly initiated by Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Sichuan Province, Shanghai Municipality and Qingdao Municipality, and 56 provincial and municipal small animal veterinarian societies (associations) nationwide participate in it. WESAVC is also a leading media entity in China, with more than 80,000 followers on its official WeChat account. It publishes an industry journal called Veterinarian Magazine of Eastern & Western, which circulates 35,000 copies among the domestic veterinary community every two months.
